Rockaway Township Public Schools

The Rockaway Township Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade in Rockaway Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States.
As of the 2012-13 school year, the district's six schools had an enrollment of 2,426 students and 226.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.731.〔(District information for Rockaway Township School District ), National Center for Education Statistics. The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. Public school students in ninth through twelfth grades attend either Morris Hills High School (those living in the White Meadow Lake section and other southern portions of the township) or Morris Knolls High School (the remainder of the township).
